Instagram has shifted again – more focus on attention, less focus on engagement.
Posting a picture on Instagram seems almost nostalgic. Remember when people posted aesthetic pictures with short captions?
Maybe they even added a few hashtags like #picoftheday or #instagood.
Out of the 2 billion monthly Instagram users, there are 95 million photos and videos posted daily. Even with reels competing for attention, photos are still being posted on the regular. It’s just now they are being shared as carousel posts instead of single-images.
